Official Marathon Training
I felt pretty sluggish on the run today. I think I was ready to be done before I even woke up. ;D
Here's today's times :D
8 miles
1 hour 5 minutes 50 seconds
Average Mile
8 minutes 13 seconds
Staying pretty steady on my pace. It seems that I can maintain a 8 minute mile for the first 4 miles or so, and then every mile adds about 5 seconds to my pace after that. Which should put me at about a 10 minute mile pace for the marathon.
I'm okay with that, because that pace would get me finished {not including potty breaks} at about 4 hours and 22 minutes, way under my 5 hour goal. :D
I'm thinking I might actually be able to do this! :D
Now, to go eat more bread. ;D
I've been enjoying lots of my yummy strawberry jam on my wheat toast. :D
10 weeks 3 days down, 7 weeks 4 days to go!!!
